Pay rises don’t just happen – the SDA makes them happen. Every year, the SDA argues for pay rises before the Fair Work Commission, or bargains for pay rises in Enterprise Agreements. HELP WITH ISSUES AT WORK
If you have any problems at work, the SDA is here to help. We help with issues like roster disputes, under payments, and bullying or harassment. We have workplace Delegates and full-time staff to resolve any problems that arise in the workplace. SDA members also have exclusive access to the SDA’s confidential advice line (131 732)
SAFER WORKPLACES
The SDA is here to help members with any Health & Safety concerns. We work for safer workplaces. If you are injured at work, the SDA can help you with your WorkCover claim – a complex area of the law. The SDA has specialists on staff to help our members with all Health & Safety processes.

The SDA is campaigning:
- against customer abuse (no one deserves a serve campaign)
- for penalty rates (Adult Age = Adult wage)
- for meaningful time off
- for fair pay for all (through enterprise bargaining)
